Outstanding. Beautiful hotel with amazing team.
Beautiful hotel set in the bush. We had visits from Zebra and Baboons. All the staff were outstanding as were the meals. The game drive was brilliant. Little personal touches made us feel very special. I would certainly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again given the opportunity.

Best Stay Ever Excellent value! Superb Venue! We had a great stay. The food was excellent, the staff were wonderful. Sifiso and Rosie were always smiling and friendly and very helpful. The amenities were 5 star. So lovely to sit on the deck or around the pool and watch the animals wondering around "doing their thing". Absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back.

We came across this great accommodation through Google and contacted them directly. We received a very quick response and the booking was flawless. The owner of the lodge also speaks German and all the staff speak excellent English! We received a very warm welcome and every day in the accommodation was perfect. Breakfast and dinner were included and there were plenty of options, including vegetarian options! We also tried out the spa and the full body massage was very relaxing. During our stay we had 2 safaris in the Kruger with a guide from the accommodation itself and a tour directly in the Marloth Park, where the accommodation is also located. There was plenty of water and snacks for the excursions. The chalets were very well equipped and very clean. The chalet was cleaned twice a day. Price-performance ratio was right from start to finish. All in all the accommodation was perfect and we would highly recommend it. We will definitely be back :-) Best wishes Verena and Kira :-)

Great view · Quiet · Kid-friendly · Great value
We recently spent a weekend at the Grand Kruger Lodge, and it was an unforgettable experience for my family. We booked a two-night stay after I won a competition, and it exceeded all our expectations.Location & Arrival: We drove 5 hours from Johannesburg to Marloth Park, and what a beautiful drive it was! The welcoming sight of two large kudu at the gates of Marloth Park made it clear we were no longer in the city. Grand Kruger Lodge is tucked away off a dirt road, surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape.Accommodation: Our chalet was stunning—two stories with bedrooms on each floor, air-conditioning (which we needed with 38-degree temps!), a small fridge, coffee station, and a lovely patio. A troop of mongoose living under our chalet provided endless entertainment for my son! The attention to detail in the rooms, the comfort of the beds, and the overall cleanliness were fantastic.Dining: Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional. The four-course buffet dinner was divine, with plenty of variety. My personal favorite was the Amarula ice cream. Breakfast was another buffet treat with lots of delicious options. My son enjoyed sampling everything multiple times!Activities: On Sunday, we took a self-drive into Kruger Park, entering through the Crocodile River Bridge gate. Despite a bit of a queue at the entrance, it was well worth it! We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, warthogs, and more. Though we missed out on a cheetah sighting (thanks to a crowded stop), we were thrilled with the number of animals we spotted—14 different species! The afternoon brought a twilight drive in Marloth Park, where we saw impalas, kudus, giraffes, and waterbucks right in the gardens of the park. Our guide, Ellie, stopped along the Crocodile River where we enjoyed drinks, snacks, and a breathtaking sunset while watching hippos and crocodiles.Spa: On Monday morning, I treated myself to a full-body massage at the lodge’s spa before our return journey. As someone who has had a fair few massages, I can confidently say this was one of the best! The therapist was incredibly skilled and left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated.Final Thoughts: Grand Kruger Lodge is a gem. The friendly service, delicious food, and relaxing atmosphere made for an unforgettable weekend. Whether you’re going for the wildlife or simply to relax, this is a must-visit! We left rested, happy, and already planning our next trip back.A big thank you to Marshelle and the entire team for making our stay so memorable!

My daughter and I were only there for Spa treatments. It ticked all the boxes - quiet, professional, totally relaxing. Soft light, warm room (it was very cold outside), soft music. Amazing facial. what can I say môre…?

Most amazing hotel ever! The location is to die for. Between Kudu, springbok, and zebra visiting the property, to the amazing food and service, this place will remain in my memory forever. Thank you to the kind-hearted staff who made our stay memorable. They arranged safari and panoramic tours for us. Every single tour was well organized, on time, and extremely convenient. They also set up the hot tub for us, which was so special. My friends were raving about the spa and massage. The location is about 20 mins from a Kruger gate and 1.5h from nelspruit airport

We spend five days and four nights here with a group of friends and kids and we did not want to leave. The staff is more than amazing, warm, lovely, fun, and the room perfect, the lodge beautiful. I will 100% come back.
