Wonderful stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast and breakfast pack are great! The pizza was delicious and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef. The bush chalet is lovely. Complimentary water is wonderful. Thank you, it was lovely!

My new home in the Safari, I can’t wait to go back!

This was our first safari trip and Grand Kruger Lodge gave us the best experience ever, we checked in at 2am and their staff was happily waiting to check us in, they even prepared fresh pizza for us at that hour, that just blew us away, a game drive was arranged for us at that hour, we over slept as we were suppose to leave for the game drive at 5am and the staff woke us up and arranged another ranger to take us for the game drive, our breakfast packs were ready it’s as if all we had to do was arrive and our weekend was all sorted. The ambiance there, you are literally one with nature, we were visited by kudus, zebras, wild hogs at the lodge the game drive was just to see lions and elephants the rest of the animals were just residence roaming around, we even came across giraffes. The staff members are the friendliest, you feel so at home even though you are meeting them for the first time, we spoke to Surprise Nkosi just after making a late booking and how friendly he sounded made us look forward to arriving at the lodge, it didn’t feel like we’re going to a place we didn’t know and they can cook, OMG from the pizza that we ate at the wee hours of the morning, to the sandwiches in our breakfast packs , to the soup and bread at dinner, the buffalo wings, ow their creamy samp and lamb curry🫠🫠🫠 and the buffet breakfast the next morning. We really loved it here and can’t wait to go back again❣️ow and just before check out we spent 2 hours at the spa 😍the Indian head massage was out of this world, our feet got pampered and the back, neck and shoulder massage removed all the stress load I was carrying. Even the owner is so kind, he walked us to the car after check out and the staff gave us bottled water for the road. If satisfied was a person it would definitely be me❣️

Wir waren zwei Wochen mit unseren 3 Kindern in Südafrika unterwegs und die Grand Kruger Lodge war der absolut schönste Platz zum Wohnen, den wir in der Zeit hatten. Es ist wunderschön dort, die Mitarbeiter sind so herzlich und fürsorglich, die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel, das Essen schmeckt herausragend gut. Wir haben 4 Safaris unternommen, die super organisiert und atemberaubend schön waren. Wir vermissen diesen besonderen Ort immer noch....

Normally I would wait for my trip to end before typing out a review. I ask myself, why wait especially since there has been such consistency from the moment I made the booking to the time we are walked back to our Luxury Bush Chalet.The staff operate this establishment with the utmost care and attention to detail. A special thanks to Sifiso, Surprise, Precious, Rosie, Mandoza our chef, our awesome tour guide Bheki and not forgetting Innocent our mixologist for best cocktails(Giraffe in a Glass is 👌).We are humbled by your great service and hospitality.The owner is ever present to greet the guests so warmly and ensure the high standards are mantained. So glad to have found this beautiful gem of a place. A "must" to visit...Definitely won't be our last time. PS the package deals are highly recommended as it includes game drives into the KNP. Keep it up GKL Team....You guys rock!!!

Staff here were amazing, always very helpful and super friendly with incredible service. The food is great too! We were never left hungry during our stay. It was very quiet and relaxing. A great location with lots of options for activities. We happened to leave something very valuable in our room, and staff were amazing at helping us organise a courier service to get it back!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable, attending to every detail with great care and professionalism.

The lodge itself is beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with its surroundings. Our accommodations were spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, offering stunning views of the natural landscape that surrounds the lodge. Waking up to the sounds of wildlife just outside our window was a daily delight.

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the safari adventures. Each day brought new and exciting encounters with Africa's majestic wildlife, expertly guided by knowledgeable rangers who shared fascinating insights into the lives of the animals we observed. The thrill of seeing lions, elephants, giraffes, and many more in their natural habitat was an experience I will never forget.

The dining experience at the lodge was equally impressive. The chefs served a variety of exquisite dishes, each beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that reflect the local cuisine. Dining under the stars, surrounded by the serene sounds of the African bush, added a magical touch to our evenings.
