Best Lodge to stay if visiting Kruger national Park. My family of four stayed in a single Bush Camp chalet with five beds, wonderful amenities, turn down service and the food at the main hotel is exceptional, including outdoor barbecue nights with freely roaming, bush buck, warthogs and even baboons. They served delicious breakfast and dinner and provide trips into Kruger as needed. Overall, the best place to stay when visiting Park.

A wonderful hotel near Kruger Park! Thank you to all the staff of the hotel for their care and great emotions! I will definitely come back again!!!❤️
It’s our honeymoon, and we’re glad we chose South Africa as our honeymoon destination! Spent 4 nights at Grand Kruger Lodge and booked 2 game drives, a sunrise bush walk and sunset drive via the lodge.
The lodge staff were good representatives of South African hospitality; we were well taken care of since day 1 – from decorating our room to welcome us for our honeymoon, the delicious and homely dinner spread (we looked forward to checking out the handwritten menu on the blackboard daily!), the friendly chats to find out if we enjoyed our Kruger National Park experience, leaving us chocolates on our bed after dinner etc. Returning to the lodge after our day felt like returning home to meet close friends whom we knew by name. Special shoutout to Innocent (yes that’s a staff’s name) who even gave us a ride back to the lodge when he saw us walking on the dirt path back after visiting Marloth viewpoint!
The game drives were conducted by the lodge safari guides, while the bush walk and sunset drive were conducted by SAN Parks rangers. We got Tamba as our game drive guide and learnt loads from him! From learning how to identify male/female animals via their distinctive features, to looking out for telltale signs such as animal poop and footprints to determine if the animals were nearby, the drives were like a live Nat Geo experience!
Definitely miss this place and everyone we met at Kruger/Marloth. Thank you for the lovely memories!

Spent the weekend at the lodge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It felt like we were waited on hand and foot. They were always there and ready whenever we needed anything or had any questions. The breakfast and 4 course dinner was delectable. The facilities were clean and comfortable. We had the signature couples massage and it left us feeling relaxed and free of our city life stress. And the best part, the animals come right onto the stoep by the pool throughout the day. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a romantic getaway with their partner. What a stay!

Rooms
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Fresh towels and bathrobes were available. Rooms are cleaned every morning while you have breakfast and they provide a turndown service in the evenings.
Nearby activities
The spa is relaxing and the gamedrives are beautiful and exciting. We recommend the sunset safari (booked at reception).
Safety
Completely safe. Just don't walk around outside the resort after dark, as wild animals do roam around.
Walkability
Good during the day, if you're not afraid of wild animals like bucks, warthogs, or monkeys.
Food and drinks
Amazing! We ate like kings.
Noteworthy details
Best client service I have ever experienced. Felt like a royal.

(Translated by Google) Located in Marloth Park, where there are some antelopes and warthogs, the Grand Kruger Lodge is well placed a few minutes from the Crocodile Bridge entrance to Kruger Park.
The chalet provides all the comfort expected for this type of lodge. The swimming pool is nice.
A good breakfast and excellent dinners.
And above all, a lovely and caring team. They made our stay just exceptional.
Otherwise, we came across zebras, kudus, bushbucks and other animals walking around the lodge.
My daughter got up close and was able to feed them. The best!
The lodge offers many activities. I was able to do the bushwalk in Marloth with my 6-year-old daughter. She loved following the animal tracks. We walked along the fence of Kruger Park where we saw crocodiles, hippos, elephants and many others.
In short, I recommend it!
