The Grand Kruger Lodge is peaceful, immersed in nature and offers a treat for all the senses (from wildlife; nice architecture; water features to harmonize with the crying insects; restaurant).The friendly and attentive staff afforded us a very pleasant vacation.Enjoyed the variety of the restaurant: from new scrumptious dishes to the table decor adapting to compliment those dishes. One evening, each waiter dressed in her/his traditional attire. This, among other fine details, made each visit to the restaurant a unique experience.After dinner, expect to find your room/chalet prepared and ready for you to sleep. Prep' includes drawing the curtains and adjusting the room temperature/aircon. All thanks to the second daily housekeeping.Besides reasonably catering for our individual requests, the Grand Kruger Lodge also took initiative to further personalize our stay in such nuanced and unique ways. For example, on the morning of our game drive at 5am, the music playing in the restaurant was that of a musician from our home country.

We felt so special all the time….the staff were amazing!!!

The breakfast was superb and we had supper there, the meals were out of this world. compliments to the chefs and all staff. We were well taken care of and we were even upgraded to better room free of charge. Anyone looking for break out of the city, I will advise them to try Grand Kruger. It is not far from the Kruger fence and if you want tp get some exercise you can walk around around and meet our beautiful animals like the wilderbeests, springboks, warthogs, and many other species of buks that are just roaming around grazing. To all the staff at Grand Kruger, thank you, we really felt at home and our expectations were exceeded!!!!
