The service was exemplary and the food was amazing

First-class service!
The service is exceptional. Surprise and Innocent are wonderful staff. They will go above and beyond for you. ALL of the food was excellent. Chef Prince is amazing. His lamb chops, butternut soup and cheesecake was especially mind-blowing. The bed is very comfortable. The Twilight safari and full-day game drive in Kruger was very enjoyable. The place is easy to find.

Definitely going back to Grand Kruger Lodge.
What's not to like animals right on your doorstep. Excellent food, absolutely amazing staff. Made us feel like we were the only ones there.
We didn't like that we couldn't stay longer :D

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were clean and spacious with a massive bed and an aircon which is very needed in the scorching heat. Dinner and breakfast each day was so yummy - there were plenty options each day and we were permanently full. The staff, Innocent and Surprise in particular, were spectacular - they were friendly and accommodating. The owner was also absolutely lovey - he checked in on us to ensure that we were happy and was very kind. They allowed us to check out very late on our departure day which was special as it allowed us a bit more time in the park and a dip in the pool before departure. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!

Warm hospitality, owner oversight and food glorious food!

The food was good, well prepared. Workers were amazing beyond our expectations always very helpful and polite. Location was also good , well situate and easy to acesse.

During the recent school holiday we stayed at Crocodile Bridge camp Kruger Park and because there is no resraurant they allow residents to exit the park with a permit should you wyish to go eat at a restaurant. I called a few lodges close to the gate to book a table for 4 of us, and I was shocked to hear they only allow onsite residents no one from outside, even if they are not fully booked to eat at their restaurant. It was 3 x 5 star lodges.....😠😠. Any way there loss, but the Grand Kruger Lodge had a table for us. And I must say they will see us again. What a stunning establishment the staff ,Innocent , Surprise Samantha and Alli was so professional and helpful. The ambiance and homely feel with bush and 5 star experience is a must see! They offer a set menu, A la carte and buffet depending on how many visitors they have. We enjoyed a 4 course set menu and it was out of this world and well priced. See you soon when we visit Marloth Park!
