The Best African Lion Safari

We here at Grand Kruger pride our selves on giving you the best game viewing experience possible. We offer game drives, day or night in open game viewing vehicles or luxury air-conditioned vehicles. Qualified game rangers provide guests with a thrilling opportunity to view not only the Big Five but also the full spectrum of flora and fauna that the nearby Kruger National Park has to offer. Game drive to Kruger Park - R 850.00 per person
Accompanied by a qualified guide; enjoy an 8 hour game viewing experience in the Kruger National Park, where one could encounter the “Big 12” plus numerous other game species. There are in excess of 500 bird species that add to the overall enjoyment. The cost includes all entry fees as well as a hearty breakfast. Minimum 4 pax. 

Please note:
All game drives depending of the availability & Weather subjected to change at any time: Note that the children age under 6 years old is not allowed on the night drive (Open Vehicle) and children age under 12 years old is not allowed on the Bush walk. But we can however take the children under 6 years old on the game drive in close vehicle.  

Elephant safari - 15h00 to 17:00 (weather dependant):

1 ½ Hour Interaction Elephant Back Safari - R 1,250.00 per person:
Start off with the interaction and then safari through the bush to one of our dams. The chance of encountering game on this experience is good as you go deeper into the bush. While they walk they will feed on trees, grasses, roots etc, and you will have a good chance to observe them the way nature intended. Less than 3 guests pay an additional R 350.00 for the transfer. (Trousers and boots are required).

1 Hour Interaction Elephant Back Safari - R 1,150.00 per person:
Elephant Back Safari including a game viewing experience through the bush. Less than 3 guests pay an additional R 350.00 for the transfer

3 Hour Interaction and Elephant Back Safari - R 2,000.00 per person:
This is the longest activity we have on offer. After your interaction you will saddle up and head off into the bush exploring the area across the veld in search of their favourite trees. Feel free during this ride to get off the elephant at any time and experience walking with them as well. This is an excellent way to get good photos of them feeding and watching the grooms interacting with the elephants. Long trousers and boots are essential for this experience. Less than 3 guests pay an additional R 350.00 for the transfer.

Sundown Safaris (16:00 18:00) - R 1,550.00 per person:

This is the most poplar trip that we run. This is a one way safari that starts off with the interaction followed by a safari through the bush to a private waterhole. When you get to the waterhole they will be led to the water (you can take an elephant to water, but you can’t make it drink) Here you will have a selection of cold drinks awaiting you. As you watch the sunset behind the dam with the sounds of the bush in the background putting the finishing touches to an unforgettable experience. At this point a game viewing vehicle will be waiting to take you back to either the lodge or your vehicle. Less than 3 guests pay an additional R 350.00 for the transfer. (Trousers and boots are required)

Night Drive Safaris - R 610.00 per person:

Accompanied by a Kruger National Park professional guide on an open safari vehicle, you will be transported into the nocturnal world of the Kruger National Park. Duration approx 3-hours. You will return to the lodge at approximately 8:45pm. A supper platter will be served on your arrival at the lodge. Minimum 4 pax.

Local Twilight Safari Game Drive -R 350.00 per person:

Accompanied by a professional guide in the open vehicle; along the bank of the Crocodile River to view animals in the Kruger National Park whilst enjoying a beautiful sunset. An optional dinner on the river bank after the game drive, additional R 200.00 per person, excluding drinks.

1/2 Hour Family Ride - R 520.00 per person:
½ Hour Horseback Ride for the family. Less than 3 guests pay an additional R 350.00 for the transfer.

1 Hour Horseback Safari - R 700.00 per person:
Horseback Safari including a game viewing experience through the bush. Less than 3 guests pay an additional R 350.00 for the transfer.
